About Me
I am a qualified Usui Reiki Practitioner (Level 2) and a Spiritual Dowser. I have a passion for helping you heal as well as healing the homes you live in. The two go hand in hand as far as I am concerned. I have always believed in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, keen to diagnose problems from a non-linear perspective. Most excitingly, my field is part science, part spirituality (part physics, part metaphysics) which suits me perfectly.My journey to where I am now has been long and is largely the sum of my life experience to date. I studied ‘A’ level Biology at school and seriously considered Medicine at university but intuitively felt that I had other things I needed to explore first. I ended up studying modern languages (French and Spanish) as I couldn't bear the idea of going abroad and not understanding what was going on around me - being intrinsically curious!
Many years followed of work, travel, living abroad, having children and making new homes. Constantly searching for direction, I managed to lose myself in the ever-changing landscapes and lives of others. Chronic depression ensued, undiagnosed, for many years until the jug finally overflowed. What I learned was that the only person who can really heal you is yourself - but it really helps to have the right support network around you and to understand where to go to and who to go to for help. Without this, it is a long and lonely road....
Through all this, however, my early interests in the nature of life, my philosophical questioning and my suppressed existential angst remained with me and thankfully have finally found an outlet. I have never been happier than I am now, exploring our inner and external worlds and coming to some sort of understanding of our place in the universe.

‘Hi Carah! Just wanted to update you on how I’ve been, I’ve been surrounded by people with colds and tonsillitis and the worst I’ve had is a bit of a sore throat, I’ve been regularly checking my tonsils and they haven’t flared up once, usually I’d get a throat infection then tonsillitis then sinusitis but (touch wood) I’ve been fine! Hope I haven’t spoken too soon but I’ve really been feeling much better. I’ve started work and haven’t missed a day when usually I’d be off with illness. Thank you so much for all your help I really do believe it has worked, I’m so glad I cancelled my operation and I can’t thank you enough. Thanks again, J xxx’
